Martha Jimenez takes part in the collective expo Camagueyanas

Camaguey- The Cuban artist Martha Jimenez, UNESCO 1997 Best Ensemble Architectural Prize for his works installed in the Plaza del Carmen, participates in the United States in the exhibition "Camagueyanas", reported here the Provincial Department of Culture.

This laureate of the V International Symposium of Terracotta, in the city of Eskisehir, Turkey, has created several series during her career that have earned her a recognition space beyond the limits of the island.

Recognized as one of the most important representatives of Contemporary Art in Cuba, Jimenez was accompanied by works such as "Ask for all," a large canvas belonging to his series "The Chismosas" newly created, and other works, as "Adrift".

The works of this representative of the city of Camaguey, located about 570 kilometers east of Havana, is characterized by the pictorial speech full of symbols and metaphors. A selection of them will be seen at the Art Space gallery Koubek Center in Miami.
