Camaguey- The artist Martha Jimenez was invited to participate in the collective exhibition of female engraver artists, entitled "60 x 500", held in the gallery of the Provincial Visual Arts Center of the city of Havana, located in the corner of Luz and Oficios.

The exhibition is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Havana and brings together 60 engraver women. The exhibition has a representation of artists of different generations, from the most consecrated, as is the case of Belkis Ayon, Antonia Eiriz, Sandra Ramos, Lesbia Vent Dumois, Martha Jimenez, Flora Fong, Zaida del Rio, Isabel Jimeno, among others. Within the young creatives is the Camagueyan artist Jenny Hernandez Carbo.

"The exhibition, considered the largest of its kind in Cuba, not only enhances the engraving, from traditional techniques to the most contemporary proposals, but, in turn, the exposition reflects the character of the artistic heritage, the demonstration of the skills and the representation of various forms of expression", said Yaniel Perez Guerra, specialist and curator of the Studio-Workshop Martha Jimenez.
